( Perempuan -Perempuan Tangguh )

Halal bihalal is a traditional Indonesian gathering that is done after the fasting month. The aim is to unite the community by sharing stories, experiences, and, of course, lots of good food. Hadiprana Gallery invited our artists from "Perempuan-Perempuan Tangguh" (Strong Women) to give encouraging messages based on their struggles and successes in the creative fields.

Mrs. Shanti L. Poesposoetjipto is the daughter of Mr. Soedarpo Sastrosatomo and Mrs. Mien Soedarpo, who inaugurated the Hadiprana Gallery in 1962. The family has always been by Hadiprana's side, thick and thin. We also had Dr. Isnani Salim, Mrs.Reny Alwi, and Mrs. Fransisca Dian talk about their challenges as women painters. There was also Mrs.Nunuk Setiawati Susanto, who built the Putri Pare brand to be one of the best local fashion brands for Kebaya wear. They all came together to give their support to fellow women who are persevering to build a better tomorrow for everyone.
